Do you want a VA that is an enjoyable experience, based around an active and friendly community?
Oh good, another VA
Packet VA aims to try and do things differently. We want to offer things that, we feel, other VA’s haven’t got quite right and make a better feeling VA as a result. The only problem of course is that absolutely every single VA says that, right?
There’s probably thousands of VA’s with “About us” pages exactly like this telling you they have
a vision of how theirs is different and then they all end up being the same anyway.
How are we different then? Our routes are planned with an aim to have a realistic level of airframe usage, we try to make things reasonably plausible in the grand scheme of things where we can. Our fleet is somewhat reasonably chosen to not be entirely ridiculous but taking into account the limitations of what’s available in Sims.
Most of all though we wanted Packet to be a place where people can enjoy their simming in a way that
suits them at that time.
Sometimes you might want to spend your time meticulously planning a flight, printing out your briefing
and having all your charts nice and neatly organised. Another time you might just fancy flying towards the
Costa’s for some nice visuals and not quite have things down so tightly. We want to cater for both.
A VA where we provide as much help as we can to get a realistic operating environment when you want but aren’t going to ‘punish’ you if you don’t want to do it that way every time.
We are here to build an enthusiastic community to enjoy what we do. Yet at the same time give all the support needed for those that want to take simming as seriously as possible, without any judgement. No toxic environments here.
If you want to fly online and haven’t a clue how to read a SID chart but are worried about getting ridiculed elsewhere then that’s what our community is here for.
Come give us a go, what’s the worst that can happen? We look forward to proving to you that not all VA’s have to be the same.
